Oh! nice one. What really intrigued me is something I observed here, which I hadn't observed in LimpDick: the blending of new age crap and jiss xtianity. I'm hearing about this at work -- from all kinds of folk and it seems to appeal not only to whites. They are "jiss christians" (non-denominational, they'll say) but they drag out all this stuff about energy and how people who have low self esteem need other people's energy. now, I hear that from new agey feminists, but from Xtians? The new agey feminists say this, but they are also into Wicca! LOL
Yesterday, we had a major building malfunction which meant none of our work stations were operational, so I took the opp to wander the various lunchrooms. In one, there was a group of twelve, all non-denoms, going on and on with the new agey talk. And at the same time, they were mixing it up with the jiss christian talk.
??!!! Is Debz reading? any thoughts Debz?
But it makes complete sense since, of course, she mentions reading a self-help new age book. her gushing about this only made me think of a contestant winning on The Price Is Right. You go grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl. And it makes complete sense because it becomes a psychological road map to success in the corporate world -- all the new agey you can be rich by making a list and willing the universe to bring your dreams to you. makes you want to, as they say, upchuck in your internets a little.
