Well, I am not sure either, really. Perhaps I can best describe it as some form of codification of distilled moral precepts -- a sort of socialist Gandhian humanism (with apologies if some Arya Samaj roots are showing!). As I have mentioned before, I am not sure I fully understand the class analysis business (which some of you have spent some time educating me on). What I can fall back on (for framework, motivation, guidance, etc) is humanist struggles from my cultural history which aimed at progress on the basis of common good, tolerance, pluralism, space and support for the underdog, non- reductionist non-generalisation-and-activism-from-identity type stuff. What I suspect some list-members may find a grab bag of clichés termed "New Age" =8-O, except in my cultural history it is very, very old age.
