I was joking, but still, it would be a scream to buy some ad space and reprint some of the more contemporary bits from those pieces. And isn't Alterman a supreme dick? How that mediocrity has such a plush career mystifies me, but only just. Under this system, we get the "public intellectuals" we deserve.
