[WS:] Good question. I think they could, but that would dive the price of foodstuff quite a bit, no? I would not mind paying it, but I can afford it while those near the poverty level would not.

Another point - what evidence is there that the "unemployable" segments of our society, residing mainly in the cities, would respond to relatively minor in the grand scheme of life pay incentive in the ag sector a few hundred miles away? I mean, do you really think that the chronically unemployed in, say, NYC, would rush to CO if the minimum or average wage in that state went up 100 or even 200%?
