It seems that capitalism necessarily generates hostility/suspicion against _some_ ethnic group or groups.
For historical reasons, one such group has been Jews. For the _same_ historical reasons (which are continually recreated in new forms) Jews may well continue to one such group. To argue this may or may not be correct -- it certainly is not insane.
