I don't think there's much fear of communists anymore. The terrorists are hiding all over the place but the communists are thought of as well-paid academics who are a kind of curiosity. A few years ago I did hear someone say that Wal-Mart was communist because they were putting everyone else out of business and forcing people to shop at their store because it was the only one in town.
