That is a truly awful list.
Even as a pure "rock and pop" list it is terrible (no Gang of Four? Joy Division? The Raincoats? Kleenex/Liliput?) but the ignorance of classical music and jazz and improvisation is also criminal.
Usually these terrible lists are also attributed to the generational preferences of baby boomers. But even as a summary of important albums from the 1960s it is a failure. AMM's _the Crypt_ or Cecil Taylor's _Conquistador_ are far superior music to the entire output of the Beatles or Bob Dylan.
