First from Russian informants, but then I noticed it at the places with a good beer selection. Of course, the best selection (1-10) was at a seedy banya in Manhattan... In my dehydrated state it wasn't wise to sample them all.
I hadn't associated Russians with good beer, and that's some good beer.
