I think libertarians' fetishism of the individual brings a solipsistic toxin to social policy that would be fatal to genuinely leftist politics in the long run. I oppose supposedly pragmatic coalitions between leftists and retrograde thinkers like libertarians and religious believers. If humanity is to have a future, societies must be governed by secular collectivism of some sort. With free enterprise systematically destroying the global environment and world religiosity breeding insane tribal wars, this is no time for leftists to compromise on the principles of socialism and secularism.
