I also vote for Uzbekistan.  I was to Tashkent as a youngster (in the
good old days of perestroika) and found it beautiful, exotic, and
interesting all at once. Ireland didn't hold a candle to it.  And I
think you'll be in better shape than I was, as you speak Russian.
