Only for stuff grown with petrochemicals. The day may come when organic food is cheaper than the other stuff.

[WS:] Organic or not, it takes energy to produce and transport food - from tilling the mother earth to delivering the produce to your local supermarket or food coop. A lot of organic stuff is grown in CA or FL and transported to the East coast - or so it is advertised here. All that requires fuel.
