David Moberg wrote, in a recent In These Times article about Change to Win: http://www.inthesetimes.com/article/3379/has_the_change_led_to_wins/

"A new pro-labor Democratic president and Congress would likely enact the Employee Free Choice Act, making it easier to form unions when a majority of workers sign union membership cards."

I'm curious whether anyone, including Moberg, believes that there is somewhere in the range of the possible such a thing as a pro-labor Democratic president and Congress that would 'likely enact' anything like the Employee Free Choice Act. (He raises this to justify union political expenditures--CTW as well as AFL-CIO.) This seems as unlikely as it was under Carter... no, more unlikely. The slogan here could be 'vote Democrat, WITH illusions.'
