I don't really get what Brits mean by "cunt." There's a line in the
Sex Pistols documentary, one of them saying, "We were the first to
call each other cunts." Which is hard to believe, but in any case,
were they using it as a synonym for faggot? I don't know. Some native
Brit speakers here who could enlighten?

--When I lived abroad, I found it interesting that Brits used that
word rather freely, yet found it rather distasteful
when Americans said something 'sucked'!   Don't know if it was the
particular Brits I ran into or something that was actually
British as in a reaction most Brits would have?
