Bytes are cheap. There was a lot of noise in the I**n threads, 
and a lot of gratuitous Billingsgate, but overall I found it 
stimulating and useful. Few converts were probably made 
but the process probably sharpened and clarifified other 
peoples' ideas besides mine.
