Patrick Bond, Director of the Centre for Civil Society in Durban, South Africa, is the author of Looting Africa: The Economics of Exploitation and editor with Rehana Dada and Graham Erfon of Climate Change, Carbon Trading and Civil Society: Negative Returns on South African Investments.

Mitchell Joachim is Executive Director of Terreform, nonprofit philanthropic design collaborative that integrates ecological principles in the urban environment. Ecological design solutions range from; green master planning, urban self-sufficiency infrastructures, community development activities, climatic tall buildings, performative material technologies, and smart mobility vehicles for cities.

Jessica Lee is a reporter and editor who works with The Indypendent, New York City's leading progressive community newspaper. She coordinated the June 2007 special issue, "Global Warming: What No One Else Will Say." www.indypendent.org.

Elaine Matthews is a research scientist at NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS). Her research interests include the current and future global methane cycle, methane emissions and climate responses; policy and technological options to reduce methane and other climate-relevant emissions in future decades.
