Rabid homophobes are not particulary known for being introspective or able to articulate their feelings to give much of an answer. The most I've ever got out of guys who trash gay men (its always gay men) w/o promoting is that it's "gross". It should be said that I've heard women randomly go on (once again w/o prompting) how gross Brokeback Mountain is (which they never saw).
