This happened right down the road from me, and it shouldn't come as a surprise. Cops, campus and metro, apparently believe they can get away with this type of brutal conduct. Not that cop violence is anything new, but with the introduction of tasers, it seems there's an upswing in beat-down/deal-with-it-later actions. The war state will always assert its authority. And our friends the Dems will call for more cops on the streets. Not the most promising future around.

Anyway, I signed the petition, and urge all here to do the same.
