Seriously: I am not convinced by the [black people are as] gullible, etc argument. The analogy to white working class doesn't seem right to me because: the white working class goes [exactly] against their own interest (materially defined), even when options closer to these interests are available. Black people however choose one among two options, the one which is arguably the lesser evil. Also, what is it, 90% of black people vote for the Democrats, so it does not seem to make sense to me that we can argue that any group will have its gullible percentage. If 90% of fundies vote GOP its not because they are [simply] gullible but because they do [correctly] perceive that party as a better option.

Miles asked about what the difference between the parties may be from an AA perspective and Andie gave some examples. There are others, such as the Bush administration's involvement of the government in an active role *against* affirmative action.
