The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided that Poland is not going to accept the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union as a part of The Reform Treaty of UE (European Constitution).
Robert Szaniawski - spokeperson of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said:
- Poland has finally decided to use "opt-out" clause together with the United Kingdom.
Szaniawski explained that Poland can't agree with a possible future interpretation of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) of the Charter which can refer to changes in the definition of family and could put preassure on Poland to respect homosexual marriages.
