[lbo-talk] Billy Bragg: How the Queen charmed the pants off me

Even though I'm not crazy about the Sex Pistols, at least they snubbed the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.

One of my favorite band's singer, Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke, is now EU "Composer-in-Residence," whatever that means. That was a big debate on a KJ fan email list -- has the former post-punk doomsayer sold out? I honestly don't know what the hell Coleman's produced or worked on since being anointed that position months back, except that the old fat bastard is making cameos on other punk bands' records. If that's what EU Composer in Residence entails, sign me up!
