I know what you're thinking, and you're largely right [tho I think that
Gawker Media comments are generally fun and informative since they're read
by folks close to those stories usually] but I'm thinking in terms of sheer
Mammonism here, that is, looking at that ILM thread [which is generally on
point] and thinking how controversies like these would do a great deal for
traffic to the site, which is something advertisers like. Sayin' is all.

I mean, yeah I don't read the Nation, but it's not because of the comments.
