I was going to ask about this today -- this development with Turkey could be
really disastrous w/r/t Kurdistan. [I've finally gotten around to reading
Cockburn's _The Occupation_ and caught the Iraq in Fragments doc this week
too. Somehow I wasn't surprised when Hashim's Insurgency and
Counter-Insurgency in Iraq and Cole's Napoleon's Egypt took an inordinately
long time to arrive in the mail either.
