We, yes you and me, are murderers and torturers of Iranians. That is not only our past but part of our present world. You are a murderer. I am a murderer. Then we turn around and lecture the people we murder on their morality. If you want to reduces murders of gays in Iran you first have to stop it in Washington, D.C.

I don't get it Brian. Why should any person in the Middle East or Central America (where there is great amount of gay bashing, who knows maybe even as much as in the Middle East) listen to us? Why? Why are you concentrating on Iran and not Columbia? We are currently waging a war on Columbian, a war of torture, and murder and chemical weapons. But Columbia is off the agenda. Nobody cares. The Columbian campesinos can't fight back. We intellectuals in the United States are just echo chambers of our ruling class. They talk about Iran. We talk about Iran.

But look at it this way. Given the percentages of people who are probably homosexual in Iran and Columbia, and the quantity of people we have aided and abetted in the murder and torture in Iran and Columbia, we have murdered and tortured more homosexuals than Iranians and Columbian.

Let us suppose you committed a racist action. Would any of us doubt that lack of sincerity, that lack of moral authority, the monumental hypocrisy of George Bush or some Jesse Helms type in lecturing you about your racism? If there was a group of homosexual racists, what authority would the Moral Majority have in opposing their racism? About as much authority that you have in opposing sexism in Iran.

But this goes further Brian.

Let us say that the (racist) Moral Majority was putting out propaganda against racist homosexuals and the end of this propaganda was to whip up a pogrom against homosexuals. We would know how to categorize the propaganda of the Moral Majority. It would not only be hypocrisy but inciting to violence.

We, as United States citizens are somewhat responsible for the murder of our government. murdered people through our taxes Brian.

I am happy to discuss issues on the list with you, but receiving your

Brian, I don't think there is anything I said that was homophobic. I know that you are angry but believe me, without going into my personal life, I doubt that I can be called homophobic. But since you would prefer on list, then so.
