Anti-imperialism isn't "on the agenda" in the imperialist countries either, is it? Though who sets this agenda? Aren't we supposed to be trying to change the agenda? Or would you rather live vicariously through the struggles of others, thousands of miles from Columbus?
Besides, there's plenty of socialism-friendly politics that may not be on Hillary Clinton's agenda, but is still within the realm of possibility. In the U.S., there's single-payer health insurance, to start with. Organized labor is fighting for its life - what are you doing to help them? There's living wage legislation. Etc. All very real world, and all in need of whatever help in can get.
I still don't understand why you're so happily associated with a publication that is one of the hardiest and most distinguished Marxist outlets in the English-speaking world. Shouldn't political honesty require that you resign if their foundational principle is so at odds with "the practical agenda"?
