I like the idea of cultivating one's garden. The 
question is, how far one's garden extends. 

I don't feel the need to raise any crops, or plant 
any seeds, in Iran. I'm quite willing to let 
the Persians take care of that -- and quite willing, 
also, to abstain from offering any unasked-for advice. 

But I would dearly love to do some weeding here at 
home, if the opportunity should offer.
