You confuse my recognition of other people's regard for Khomeini with
my own regard for him.
In any case, what you say doesn't contradict the fact that the main
divide in politics in Iran today is, if anything, between liberal
Westernizers and populist anti-imperialists, with Ali Khamenei serving
as the arbiter among contending factions. It's 2007 today, in the
post-socialist and post-social democratic world.
