I've been playing Warhammer 40000 Dark Crusade to the point of obsession... To 3 am every night. In fact I was just playing it.
It's the best RTS game I have ever played. Also, I just love the utterly dystopian Warhammer 40000 universe. It's pure black, so black it's funny. Every time I kill one of my Imperial Guardsman to scare the others into fighting harder, I get a sick chuckle. It's like I'm virtual Stalin. I'm playing the Russian version of the game, and I notice that they use a lot of literal Stalinist WWII rhetoric in the dialogue ("Ni shagu nazad!" = "not one step back!"). I wonder if it was like that in the English original.
