Call the Leo House 332 W 23RD St New York, NY 10011-2289 The number the list on the web is: (212) 929-1010 The number my Mom has is ( 212)-366-6801 My Mom stayed there when she visited NY for a cost of about $120 a day. Very clean. The street live consists mostly of very elderly people, so you may have to walk a few blocks to experience the excitement and wonder of NY. It was run by a Catholic group. Originally it catered to traveling Catholics, but now it is open to anyone as long as you are from outside of NY. (They won't except NY residents; it is meant for travelers. No meals; you have to eat elsewhere. And big honking crucifixes and religious paintings on the wall -- often of martyrs in fairly bloody detail.
