You probably already know this, but just in case -- Doug has a great show 
on precisely this topic.  He recorded and boiled down to an hour a 
presentation made by Nicholas Stern, the founding dean as it were of the 
economics of global warming:

Of course the New School roster includes marxists of various stripes,
