Blaming the ad for war proponents' behavior is as bad as blaming the ad for troubles in America instead of the war. There have been a lot of political smears like this -- "Hitlery" instead of Hillary, and more. Looks like The Note "has allowed" the GOP to change the debate by covering their "outrage" at the MoveOn ad to begin with.
