Which brings us to the dilemma of Hillary v. Rudy, the New York Senate race that never was, gone national (and international). I've spoken to NY lefty friends of mine who despise Hillary, for the right reasons, but even they confess that if it comes down to her and Rudy, they'll vote Hillary, just to keep that fascist fuck out of office.
Of course, Hillary presents major problems of her own, and she's certainly no stranger to the authoritarian hand. But anyone who's lived under Rudy, as Doug said, knows what he's about, and it ain't good.
