A friend who was at the Labor Notes conference, and who now sports a  
big bruise on his arm from the experience, had this to say (and you  
can see he was not unsympathetic to SEIU going into the weekend):

> there was both a grain of truth to their argument about Ohio and   
> that this kind of thing was just not what they did.
