Sure. But with regard to industrial vs. craft unionism, the episode is still instructive. And I thought list-members would be more sympathetic to a left-led union's motives.
Here's a hint in answering the question: race has to be front and center. Also, divisions within the hospital workforce in NYC aren't all that different from other major metro areas.
