I never was a Clinton fan but her campaign has become unbelievably disgusting. I can't imagine she could win back the Democratic votes she's alienated through this crap. She'd rather have McCain win than lose the nomination. Even if she acquires the nomination, McCain could win due to this because the third party vote and the don't-bother-to-vote are rising with every attack she launches against Obama. That's the true Democratic fake move you predicted, Charles--a candidate who would rather destroy the party and lose the election than fail to be the nominee. That's a matched set with Gore and Kerry who would rather lose the election than encourage outrage at (or even investigation of) our electoral system. Perhaps a new party slogan: "Democrats! We'd rather lose."
