Excuse me while I laugh. Solzhenitsyn was qualifiedly pro-Putin. He approved of Putin's foreign policy and his vector in general, while disapproving of what he saw as the continuities with the Yeltsin era, that is, elitism.

I'm sad. Only Medveden and Yevtushenko are left. :(
