ROME, July 30 (Reuters) - Italy's government on Wednesday denied plans to
make Alitalia (AZPIa.MI: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) bankrupt as
it came under attack from the centre-left opposition over mass layoffs
expected at the troubled carrier.
