That is a big part of it.
I've always wondered if this is a skill people acquire at places like
HBS and on the job or if people who have already acquired this skill are
better equipped to move into such jobs and so attend HBS and the like.
I am sure it is both but I believe it is primarily the later.
I've only met HBS alum.
I've never met anyone before and after the experience to see if
attending changed, in my opinion anyway, their self-reflective capabilities.
