By coincidence, the barrista at my local coffee shop, who I always thought must be a Caucasian due to the dusky skin, facial structure, and non-Russian name (Zinaida), turns out to be an Ossetian from Vladikavkaz, which she says is filled with refugees from South Ossetia.
