It's heating up a wee bit in both cities:

The RNC convention is in downtown St. Paul, but the 
RNC headquarters are at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown 
Minneapolis (a short hop away from the convention on 
interstate 94).

There's also a giant media welcoming bash tonight in 
Minneapolis (8,000-15,000 expected), right downtown 
in the riverfront area.
