I'm not saying I endorse the Jezebel article. There's value to critique, and the "what would you do, buddy?" response can be a defense of the status quo. Just thought it was worth putting out there.
I was struck by the "I don't read those books" line. Call me old- fashioned, but I think it's important for people who write books to read a few, too.
