I think S.A. should name some of these "many" people, quote them, analyze the quotes, and demonstrate that the quoted words (a) show a double standard and(b) that they are unwitting. (And incidentally, what he goes on to argue is not accurately labelled a "double standard"; bad writing.)
Unless he can do this he should either apologize for his (unwitting?) slander or expect to be regarded as someone whose opinion is irrelevant, like the hoots from the bleachers at a ball game.
Moreover, his paost is utterly ujnpolitical. Leftists propose and fight POLITICALLY, for what they believe in. S.A. chooses to see leftists as lazy bums making moral judgments from the sidelines as he seems to be doing.
