Yeah, I know it's all systemic, and not a matter of individual  
behavior, but the high-minded publishing firm that I rent office space  
from, The New Press, is running the air conditioning today, when it's  
13 degrees out in NYC. The reason? Parts of the office are "stuffy."  
They do this year-round, but today it seems unusually egregious.

When the water's up around our ankles, we'll know whom to blame.
