For me the recent attacks by Israel on Gaza represent the most sobering event of at any rate the last six months. What's more, they shown the frivolity of recent comments I made in contribution to a recent LBO thread on "morality". In fact, here's the empirical evidence of the nature our morality: a community pummeled inhabitants blown to bits in front of our faces and we do nothing.
