When Doug interviewed Glen Ford of The Black Agenda last month:

Ford said that Obama not only voted for the draconian bankruptcy bill (a marker of being conservative/corporate even for a Democrat), but also for tort reform (which almost no Democrats supported).
But in this week's Nation Magazine, the cover-story article by Christopher Hayes on how Obama's the one says he voted against it.
AFAICS, it's the single instance he comes up with of Obama taking a position in the Senate to the left of Clinton. So if that one thing's wrong -- if he has no position to the left of Clinton -- that would be an important point. (And this might perhaps be another interesting case of charisma clouding men's minds.)
I assume there must be some fuzziness involved. Does anybody know the nitty-gritty details?
