In my delay and distraction I missed this. Carl's passing is a great loss; I'm sorry I never met him in person. He was witty, learned, gracious, militant, an affliction to the comfortable and a comfort to the afflicted. He would not want us to mourn, although it is hard to resist. but to organize. Let's. While Carl lived, the bosses sat less comfortably. He'd want the said to be said about us. Let's aspire to live so that those who come after can say the same when it is our time. La lutta continua, Carl, we will not stop.
