I know -- too many of the Greens are pretty sloppy and unconscious. They're just the best shot we've got just now to reach a few people and make a minimal assessment of the political whether. A couple years ago the local green leader had a hell of a good idea for the annual township meetings here, & proeceded to fuck up implementation his own idea royally. And a couple years before the same Green had (innocently) shot down an embryonic student attempt at organization by stampeding them into focusing on running candidates in the City elections just two months away. They never even had another meeting. Fucking Amateurs.

That is one of the reasons I keep beating the drum for people to work like hell in local anti-war groups etc simply to build up some 'infra-structure' and experience for when more becomes possible.
