The polls say Obama too.

McCain will have soft base support. Clinton will have soft base support. McCain will draw the independents and some Democrats; Clinton will draw less independents and no Republicans. It's a toss up, but I'm skeptical Clinton can beat McCain. Obama can beat McCain. He can draw Republicans (living in a dark red state, I've even heard some of 'em say it) and he can draw independents, even away from McCain. The blue hairs, from whom Clinton is drawing most of her primary support, will still have to vote for Obama in the general election.
