We should perhaps keep in mind that HLS harbors on its faculty two professors who have admitted to committing plagiarism: would-be Supreme Court justice Larry Tribe and Charles Ogletree. Neither man has been expelled from the HLS faculty, although they were supposedly penalized by Harvard. Apparently, being a member of the HLS faculty means never having to say that you are sorry. And when you are a big foot like Dershowitz, you don't have to admit to anything at all.

The next time one of his students gets caught plagiarizing, or cribbing quotes without attribution, and is threatened with administrative action the student should point to Dersh and say, "But I was only following my Profs example."
