Obama said he would make strikes against Al Qaeda if Musharraf were unwilling or incapable of doing so. The point of this comment was to show that his opposition to UN unauthorized wars and his brave skepticism of first strike nuclear threats did not imply an unwillingness to take police actions against non-state terrorist organizations. That is a winning platform and a world of improvement over the Bush doctrine of a right to UN unauthorized US nuclear backed aggression in the name of preventing the build up of WMD capability. Hilary Clinton supports this doctrine in relation to Iran. I am sorry that you cannot see how important this difference is. "perhaps" this is important?
