"We've looked at race and sex as factors in the Democratic presidential campaign (and separately examined the role of ideology and religious belief on the Republican side). The Clinton-Obama contest includes another crucial variable to watch: socioeconomic status. With remarkable consistency, Hillary Clinton has done better with lower-education and -income groups, Barack Obama with higher ones. It may matter in Wisconsin today, in Texas, and perhaps more than anywhere else, in Ohio on March 4.

See the blog item at http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenumbers/2008/02/the- ses-factor.html"

Clinton is taking cheap quasi populist positions, depending on Congress to stuff them. But foreign policy is due to executive take over in the president's hands. Here the differences between the candidates really matter, and it's just a matter of time before more Americans realize that foreign policy is the biggest bread and butter issue of all.

Those who have time and money should be trying to connect with the voters of Texas and Ohio. Clinton should not be allowed a victory as disproportionate as the one she enjoyed in California. In fact she needs to be defeated. Change is possible.
